Spectacular view lot is one of the last vacant parcels left in Edgemoor. Ridgeline building site offers wide-open westerly views to Bellingham Bay and San Juan sunsets, as well as intimate southerly views over Chuckanut Bay, Clark's Point and Chuckanut Mountain. Easy to build with all city utilities in the street. It doesn't get better than this. Soaring eagles, sparkling waves, madrona trees rustling in the wind- everything you could hope for in a Northwest custom home site.

Fabulous Lifestyle for Retirement

October 28th, 2007
Sudden Valley … vacation, retirement and fabulous lifestyle!     By Luanne Highlander I discovered Sudden Valley in 1990. I was living in the rural Whatcom County growing organic raspberries for a few years, and after getting the “Green Acres” lifestyle out of my system, went looking for a place with both elbowroom and neighbors.  Happily, I discovered this magical community and lived there for the next 13 years. This is not just for the retirement set, but I can’t think of a better place to retire for those who love nature and also an active lifestyle.

Washington State Forclosures

October 27th, 2007
Some interesting info from the WA Association of Realtors. The “Loans 10 years” report by the Mortgage Bankers Association shows rates of foreclosure over the last ten years. Foreclosure rate in Washington is less than 1%, the same as ten years ago, and less then the highest which was in 2002. The facts flyer is why our market shouldn’t get hammered too badly, but consumer confidence sometimes has little to do with the facts.

Your search for that elusive downtown Bellingham Craftsman ends here. English Cottage style 1920's vintage home has the hard wood floors, built in cabinetry, arched thresholds, cuteness throughout. Custom tile patio with firepit leads you to a private fenced back yard with extensive raised bed gardens. You will fall in love with this home. Easy walk downtown and to the waterfront. Detached garage is great for shop, storage, hobbies or even a car. Detached garage in back would make a great shop, hobby area, or one car garage.

Bellingham Herald Pet Parade

October 25th, 2007
Today October 25, 2007, our Havanese puppies were featured in the Pet Parade section of the local newspaper, The Bellingham Herald. Every week local pets of all varieties are featured and there is even a contest to vote on the cutest pet picture. This week Andy, his daughter Maggie and her puppy Mikey are pictured in their jogger stroller taking the interurban trails with Charley. Yes, they do ride occasionally as we tend to walk a bit farther than they want to go! And yes, we do get weird looks from fellow joggers and walkers but hey...form follows function. They are rather cute besides.
